Williamsburg Wedding Photographer~KingsMill Wedding

Here it is... the day that Caryn and Jeff had been planning for all year.  Their special and most important day was unfolding!  Outdoor weddings can always be nerve racking to plan, as one never knows if the weather will cooperate.  The weather was amazing,  everything just fell into place as hoped!  I met with Caryn and Jeff the beginning of the year to book their wedding then to start the process of creating their story.  We first discussed their e-session... they both love Williamsburg since they graduated from The College of William and Mary.  I wanted to photograph them in Washington D.C. as I thought it would be fun to do both.  They were wonderful and agreed to my proposal.  It is always great to do an e-session with your photographer as it allows you time to become comfortable with the camera and allows your photographer to get to know you better and capture your personality.
The Wedding day began at The Kingsmill Resort Spa where the Bride and Bridesmaids were having their hair and make-up done... then to the room for preparation for the wedding.  An elegant wedding, sweet ceremony surrounded by the most amazing view, flowers, family and friends.  When all the planning, time, and effort goes into a wedding like this, all that is left to do is sit back and enjoy celebrating the day!  Caryn and Jeff were great fun to spend the day documenting their new life together!  Thanks for entrusting this most important day to me!  Wish you all the best!

From the beautiful KingsMill resort to a Ford's Colony wedding and reception, Lauren and Tyler experienced their dream come true!  Lauren and Tyler met in High School and have been sweet hearts ever since.  When I first met these two they were full of laughter, creativity, and there was never a dull moment.  Great fun to work with.  I have to say when Lauren first told me she was going to have purple hair on her wedding day with feathers and many more creative dramatic ideas... I was without words.  Much to my delight Lauren more than pulled it off and with elegance and style!  These two were a pleasure to photograph and what a great group of friends and family they had as their audience for their grand performance!  Great color during the reception with shooting stars across the ceiling of their amazing reception, Danny Gray from Astro DJs helped everyone enjoy dancing the night away.

Williamsburg Wedding Photographer~Pure Elegance!

 Alison and Josh made a cake topping couple!  Beautiful people inside and out! Very interesting story, these two met while both their families were over seas as missionaries.  This should encourage all future brides to be... don't give up!  You never know where you might meet your future husband or wife.

I am honored to have been a part of this couples special day, as you can see we had a fun filled bridal session.  On the beautiful horse farm of special friends to the family,  the stables and pastures were as a painted backdrop!  Wow, elegance mixed with the rustic tank and stable... I think you could have placed Alison in any scene and she would have made it breath-taking!  What mood and emotion was captured when photographing Alison, she made my job easy!  Thanks to you and your family!

Fairy Tales Do Come True! ~ Williamsburg Wedding Photographer

Shannon and Sam put a huge smile on my face while photographing them and still as I look through their e-session!  What a great joy to shoot~ this couple are a photographers dream.  There is no question of their love for one another!  Meeting each other in India, working together in ministry.  Side by side I have no doubt Sam and Shannon are going to be successful in all they do!  It is an honor to be a part of this special dream come true~  Wedding on Labor Day at the Freight Shed in Yorktown, going to be a gorgeous occasion!  Making a photographers dream come true as well!  Congrats guys!  Love you both and can't wait for the day~
